Alysa Romano

Alysa Romano is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Supervisor with a Master’s degree in Psychological Counseling from Columbia University, emphasizing social justice. With ten years of counseling experience, Alysa currently serves as the Executive Clinical Director at Embark Behavioral Health, overseeing their virtual Intensive Outpatient Program for adolescents and young adults. Previously, Alysa held various roles, including Regional Director of Operations for Center for Discovery and Adjunct Professor at National University of Natural Medicine, teaching master’s level counseling courses. Specializing in evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches, Alysa has treated clients with eating disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD, and depression, and is passionate about facilitating healing and personal growth.
