Anwar Haloui is a Project Engineer at embecta since August 2023, previously serving as a Mechanical R&D Engineer Co-Op, where a human factor study was conducted to evaluate new user removable safety cover designs and an inline Air Leak Test was developed for FDA 510K approval. Prior to this role, Anwar worked as a Mechanical Engineer Co-Op at embecta from January 2023 to June 2023, focusing on catheter tipping process characterization and validation of the Needle Insertion Mechanism. Anwar's research experience includes a fellowship at Boston University in summer 2022, where research findings were presented on the application of thiols in polymer adhesion tests. Anwar is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology, expected to graduate in August 2024.
