David Kattan

David Kattan is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software testing and verification, particularly within the medical device sector. Currently serving as a V&V Staff Engineer at embecta since March 2022, David leads new product introduction (NPI) verification efforts and manages a team of engineers. Prior roles include Software Test Engineer at Philips Lifeline, where David created and maintained manufacturing test requirements and designed automated manufacturing test equipment, and Manufacturing Test Engineer at Volcano Corporation, where David developed test systems for OCT medical imaging devices. Additional experience encompasses positions at Design Mentor, InterSystems Corporation, Dynamics Research Corporation, 3M Touch Systems, and Teloquent Communications, with a strong focus on automation, test system architecture, and software quality assurance. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
