James Reid has extensive experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as Plant Controller and Senior Finance Partner at embecta since November 2022. Prior to this, James held the position of Senior Manager in Advisory Services at PwC from July 2018 to November 2022. James was Group Financial Controller at Systech International from June 2015 to June 2018, overseeing the financial operations across the UK and Europe. Previously, James worked as European Finance Manager at Ranir Limited, focusing on financial analysis and project management from December 2008 to May 2015. Early in the career, James served as Assistant Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, conducting audits for various notable clients from October 2005 to October 2008. James holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master's degree in Accounting from University College Dublin and is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
