Sharon Lunney is a Global Sterility Assurance Leader at embecta, where they drive the development and implementation of sterility assurance and contamination control programs. With over 20 years of experience in microbiology and sterility assurance, Sharon previously held roles at BD Medical, Abbott Diagnostics, and the Irish Equine Centre, where they managed microbiology departments and conducted clinical microbiology testing. Sharon possesses a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Microbiology from the University of Ulster Coleraine and a Bachelor of Science in Bioanalytical Science from the Institute of Technology, Tallaght.
