Stephen Delaney

Stephen Delaney is a seasoned professional in site operations and manufacturing excellence, currently serving as Site Operations Manager at embecta since November 2021, after holding the position of Production Manager. Prior experience includes an extensive tenure at Diageo from September 2008 to October 2021, where Stephen worked in various roles including Liquid Production Manager and Manufacturing Excellence Manager, overseeing transformational lean manufacturing initiatives in the Baileys supply business across multiple locations. As Manufacturing Excellence Lead, Stephen executed strategies that generated significant business savings and fostered sustainable cultural change. Additionally, experience as Project Manager for Africa Capex Engineering highlighted Stephen's capacity for managing large-scale capital projects across Sub-Saharan Africa. Stephen began a career path in operations and continuous improvement as a CI Engineer and Production Team Leader. Stephen holds a degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Dublin City University, obtained in 2008.
