Tom Melody

Tom Melody currently serves in Supply Chain Management at embecta since July 2025. Prior to this, Tom was the Head of Supply Chain and Continuous Improvement at Freshways Food Co. from June 2023 to July 2025. Tom's extensive experience at Kerry Foods spanned from July 2000 to July 2025, during which roles included Procurement Category Manager, General Manager of the Manufacturing facility, Director of Operations for eight sites across Europe, Operations Manager overseeing manufacturing, engineering, and quality, Lean Change Agent driving transformation, and Supply Chain Manager focusing on customer service and inventories. Tom also completed a Graduate Programme and was a Production Manager at Kerry T&N from April 2019 to December 2022. Tom holds an MBA (2008-2010) and a BSc in Science (Biochemistry) (1996-2000) from University College Dublin.
