embedded data is an IoT technology company based in Germany. Since 2017, we have been developing complete solutions for industrial machinery and equipment manufacturers who want to bring connected products to market. Our mission: We act as your own IoT department.
You bring the product idea – we deliver the complete infrastructure: from support in selecting and developing gateway hardware with our partners, to edge software and cloud platform. Everything from a single source, without the complexity of 5+ vendors. What sets us apart: Our platform david IoT is production-proven and has been running for years in critical infrastructures – with over 30 installations in railway technology, building automation, mechanical engineering, and condition monitoring. Through pre-integrated hardware-software stacks, we reduce development time from years to months. Technological independence: We rely on standard technologies (Docker, PostgreSQL, MQTT, REST) instead of proprietary solutions. Our containers run on any infrastructure: on your devices, in our private cloud, on-premise, or with Hetzner, IONOS, OpenTelekomCloud, AWS, Azure, and more. Source code access is also available upon request – for close collaboration and a genuine 2nd-source strategy. Compliance-ready: david IoT meets the requirements of the EU Cyber Resilience Act through updateable systems, security-by-design, and documentation. GDPR-compliant and without data transfers abroad.
Our offering: Whether retrofitting existing systems or developing new digital products – we support OEMs from the initial idea to productive operation. Pragmatic, direct, and solution-oriented.
