Jan Odvárka

Jan Odvárka is a Chief Cybersecurity Strategist and Deputy CISO with over 17 years of experience in cybersecurity leadership, risk management, and operational resilience in critical infrastructure and global enterprises. Currently, at EmbedIT (PPF Group), Jan oversees the Cyber Defense Center, integrating various security and operational functions to protect national and financial infrastructures. Prior to this, Jan held key roles at institutions such as Správa železnic and Atos, leading transformations in IT services and risk compliance. Jan holds certifications including CISSP and CISM and is pursuing an MBA in Management and Cybersecurity at CEVRO University.
