Martin Talpa

Martin Talpa currently serves as the Head of Development at EmbedIT, focusing on enhancing the company's presence in the European IT market since September 2023. Previously, from September 2013 to August 2023, Martin held the position of Director of Risk, Finance and Treasury Technology at Barclays in Prague, overseeing a large department responsible for a variety of projects related to risk management and financial technology. In earlier roles, Martin served as VP of Risk & Analytics IT at Barclays, where a significant expansion of the team took place, and held positions such as Technical Director at ICZ and Solutions Architect at Logos. Martin began a career in software development as a Lead Programmer and Development Team Leader at Exprit. Education includes a degree from the Prague University of Economics and Business and attendance at Akademicke Gymnazium Stepanska.
