Rio Tanaka

Rio Tanaka has a diverse work experience, starting in 2017 as a Growth Marketing Intern at a company called "旅武者." In 2018, Rio worked as a Business Development Intern at LivelyCare, supporting the development and localization for the Japanese market. They also organized an event called Japan tech meetup as an Event Organizer for sTARTUp Day in Estonia. In 2019, Rio founded a platform called SAMURAI HUNTERS to connect Japanese talents with global companies, and also worked as a Project Manager at Basicmath, where they took care of various projects and managed WordPress sites for clients. Currently, Rio is the Managing Director for EmbedSocial, focusing on growing the business, expanding marketing channels, hiring, and managing customer relations.

Rio Tanaka's education history includes attending G's ACADEMY TOKYO in 2020, where they completed a vocational coding program in computer software engineering. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2019, Rio obtained a Bachelor's degree in entrepreneurship/entrepreneurial studies from Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences / EEK Mainor. In 2017 to 2018, they studied at Chuo University, earning a Bachelor of Laws degree with a field of study in political science and government. Additionally, Rio obtained certification as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2021.
