Lloyd Severence

Lloyd Severence has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Lloyd currently works as a Support Specialist at EMBER Managed Security and IT, where they continuously monitor client infrastructure and troubleshoots various issues. In 2019, they founded their own company called Severence Services, LLC. Prior to that, they worked at Wulf Consulting as a Senior Help Desk Technician, resolving escalated tickets and assisting with networking and server infrastructure. From 2010 to 2012, they held various roles at Support.com, including Global NPS Champion, Client Services Manager, Associate Operations Manager, Solutions Center Supervisor, Supervisor Intern, and Solutions Engineer, where they provided technical troubleshooting and customer support. Lloyd also worked at Technisource as an Incident Management contractor in 2010, Pomeroy IT Solutions as a Server Technician contractor in 2009, Direct Computer, Inc. as a Network Technician from 2007 to 2008, Midwest Computer Support as a Field Technician in 2006, Quality Computing as an Assistant Systems Administrator in 2005, and Community Support Services - Summit County as a Computer/Network Technician in 2005. Lloyd Severence's work experience demonstrates their expertise in technical support, troubleshooting, and customer service.

Lloyd Severence attended the Four County Career Center from 1999 to 2001, where they obtained a Certificate in Cisco Networking. In May 2001, they also obtained a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification from Cisco.

In March 2009, Lloyd obtained a CompTIA A+ certification and in May 2009, they obtained a CompTIA Server+ certification from CompTIA.

Later, in July 2021, Lloyd acquired a Sophos Certified Sales Consultant certification from Sophos.

Looking ahead, in February 2023, Lloyd is scheduled to receive a Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 1: Certified Associate certification from Fortinet. Additionally, in April 2023, they are set to obtain a Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 2: Certified Associate certification from the same institution.
