Derek Dafoe, P.Tech. (ENG.), PMP, is currently a Directional Driller at Altitude Energy Partners, a position they have held since 2024. Previously, they worked as a Senior Drilling Applications Advisor at Baker Hughes from 2011 to 2020 and served as a Wellsite Supervisor at Ember Resources Inc. from 2022 to 2025. Derek also held roles as a MWD Field Operator at Cathedral Energy Services and as a Canadian Operations Coordinator at Extreme Engineering between 2005 and 2011. Additionally, they were a Project Manager at 360 Energy Liability Management Ltd. from 2020 to 2022. Derek is currently continuing their education at Bishop Grandin High School.
