Jay Befus

Jay Befus currently serves as an Emissions Compliance and Rotating Equipment Specialist and Maintenance Lead at Ember Resources Inc., a position held since January 2015 following the company's acquisition of the Encana Clearwater business unit. With extensive experience from Encana Corporation, beginning in June 1999, Jay initially worked as a Millwright and later took on the role of Maintenance Scheduler, utilizing Maximo for work order management. Jay possesses a strong background in various equipment maintenance and management, enhanced by hands-on experience and a commitment to professional development, including a Blue Seal Certification in Maintenance Management and completion of the Millwright apprenticeship at both the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
