Andrew Quinn is a Research Scientist at the University of Lausanne, specializing in microbiology and metabolomics, with a focus on the metabolic interactions between pesticides, gut microbiota, and honeybees. In addition, Andrew serves as a Visiting Research Fellow at EMBL, investigating microbial biotransformation of xenobiotic chemicals. Previously, as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Lausanne, Andrew explored host-bacteria metabolic interactions within the honey bee gut microbiome. Andrew's experience includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland, a Process Engineer at Cambridge Chemical Technologies, and R&D Intern at Protonex. Andrew holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a B.S. in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Tufts University.
