Bernhard Drotleff

Bernhard Drotleff is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in mass spectrometry and operational management. Currently serving as Operational Manager at EMBL since September 2021, Bernhard oversees facility operations, personnel management, and strategic development. Prior to this role, Bernhard excelled as a Scientific Officer at EMBL, where expertise in mass spectrometry was applied to various biomarker discovery studies. With previous roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Doctoral Researcher at Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, Bernhard developed innovative analytical methods for clinical applications and contributed significantly to bioanalytical research. Educationally, Bernhard holds a Master of Science in Toxicology from Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
