Daniela Casarrubea is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in the field of genome biology. Currently serving as a postdoctoral researcher at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) since December 2008, Daniela has a strong academic background, having earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Genome Biology from the University of Heidelberg and EMBL between 2008 and 2013. Prior to this, Daniela completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Biotechnology applied to Industry and Research at the University of Palermo and the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biotechnology applied to Biomedicine at the University of Palermo. Early academic training includes a high school diploma in Life Sciences and Humanities from Liceo Scientifico G.Galilei. Daniela's research journey began as a bachelor student at the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche and further developed during a master student internship at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland.
