Eduard Avetisyan

Eduard Avetisyan is an experienced IT Manager currently employed at EMBL since January 2017, where responsibilities include project management, infrastructure lifecycle management, data lifecycle management, team management, and stakeholder communication, with a focus on security, redundancy, and high-availability in network, storage, and Linux administration. Prior roles include IT Integrator at DESY from January 2014 to December 2016, managing IBM WebSphere and BPM software, as well as a Postdoctoral Fellow at DESY from January 2007 to December 2012, and a Visiting Researcher at INFN from January 2001 to December 2005. Eduard holds a Master's degree in Elementary Particle Physics from Yerevan State University, completed in 1996, and has served as a staff representative in the Staff Association for four years, including two years as vice-chair.
