Isabelle Thorez

Isabelle Thorez is an experienced HR professional with a strong background in human resources management and operations. Currently serving as Team Lead for HR Partners and Operations at EMBL since September 2018, Isabelle excels in providing comprehensive support and guidance on HR matters, managing staff contract renewals, and ensuring adherence to EMBL policies. Previous roles include HR Specialist at CBM International, where Isabelle contributed to the digital transformation of HR processes and led recruitment efforts. Additional experience includes serving as Recruitment Manager at Eurostar, where project management and change management skills were developed. Isabelle began their career as a Recruitment Consultant at ALTEN and has a solid educational foundation, holding a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Birkbeck, University of London and a Master of Communication and Human Resources from the University of Lille 1.
