Luca Marconato

Luca Marconato is currently an Open Source Contributor at scverse, where they develop infrastructure solutions for the storage and processing of spatial multimodal molecular profiles. They have served as a Senior Software Developer at EMBL, contributing to the SpatialData framework, and have worked as an Associate at the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center, focusing on deep neural network models for heterogeneous data integration. Previously, Luca held positions as a PHD Student at both the University of Heidelberg and Harvard Medical School and completed a Bioinformatics internship at St. Olavs Hospital, where they worked on microRNA target prediction in cancer research.
