Matteo Spatuzzi

Matteo Spatuzzi is a bioinformatician with over five years of experience in data analysis and the development of machine learning algorithms, particularly in single-cell and spatial omics. They obtained a Master of Science in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from Heidelberg University, where they also completed their Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biotechnology. Their notable roles include serving as a teaching assistant at Heidelberg University, working as a data scientist at EMBL, and collaborating on research projects at various prestigious institutions, including the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center. Currently, they volunteer in science education and public engagement at EMBL.
