Matthew Bowler has extensive experience in the field of structural biology, currently serving as Project Leader and Staff Scientist at EMBL since July 2012. Prior to this, Matthew held the position of Beamline Scientist at ESRF - European Radiation Synchrotron Facility from July 2007 to June 2012 and was a Career Development Fellow at the Medical Research Council from January 2005 to June 2007. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Structural Biology from the University of Cambridge, a Master of Science in Structural Biology from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Science in Biological and Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Exeter. Additional educational background includes formal education at Magdalen College School and Dragon School Oxford.
