Mattia Forneris

Mattia Forneris has a robust background in molecular biology and bioinformatics, with key experiences at leading institutions. At the Università degli Studi di Torino, Mattia completed both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree focused on biotechnology and molecular biotechnology. A Bachelor thesis examined transcription factor binding sites and gene expression differences among mammals, while a Master thesis enhanced eQTL results interpretation. Mattia worked as a predoctoral fellow at EMBL, independently developing eQTL methods and producing a comprehensive chromatin accessibility annotation dataset.
