Robert Prevedel

Robert Prevedel is a Group Leader at EMBL, where they focus on developing new optical technologies for imaging biological processes. Previously, they served as a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher at the Research Institute of Molecular Pathology and Max F. Perutz Laboratories, working on quantum effects in biological systems and new imaging tools for circuit neuroscience research. Robert also held postdoctoral research positions at the Institute for Quantum Computing at the University of Waterloo and completed their PhD and MSc in Quantum Optics and Quantum Information at the University of Vienna. Additionally, they contributed as a teaching assistant and external lecturer in various academic settings.
