Thomas Heinzmann has over three decades of experience in scientific maintenance and technical leadership. Since January 2001, Thomas has served as the Head of Scientific Maintenance at EMBL, following a role as Senior Scientific Maintenance Technician. Prior to this, from January 1990 to December 2000, Thomas was Geschäftsführer at Heinzmann GmbH. Thomas holds a Meister der RF- und Fernsehtechnik degree from Radio Heinzmann, earned between 1982 and 2001, and a degree in Radio- und Fernsehtechnologie as a Radio- und Fernsehtechniker from AEG Telefunken Mannheim.
