Vikas Trivedi is a specialized researcher in bioengineering with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Caltech, completed in 2015, and a B.Tech in Biological Sciences and Bioengineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Currently serving as the Coordinator for ERC Synergy at the European Research Council since January 2024 and as Co-Chair for the Theory Transversal Theme at EMBL since August 2018, Vikas has also held positions as Research Group Leader at the Royal Microscopical Society and various editorial roles. Previous academic involvement includes fellowships at the University of Cambridge and teaching at the Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar.
