Yulia Ermakova

Yulia Ermakova is a Staff Scientist in Spatial Omics at the University of Basel and currently serves as a Visiting Scientist at EMBL. They have previously held positions such as Head of the Group of Redox Biology at the Shemyakin-Ovchinnikov Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry and have extensive experience in molecular biology, including work as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at EMBL. Yulia earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the Shemyakin-Ovchinnikov Institute and holds a Specialist degree in Biochemistry from Moscow State University. Additionally, they have taught Chemistry and Biology to high school students and contributed to various optimization techniques in their research roles.
