Michael Miller is a Research Engineer at Embodied System Lab, focusing on the development of automated systems for creating smart yarns used in capacitive pressure and pose sensing in textiles. Michael has experience as a Lead Instructor with Northwestern University BAJA SAE, where a 10-week curriculum was developed for training new team members in manufacturing and design, and also contributed to the design of vehicle components for the Baja car. As a Shop Trainer at Northwestern University, training was provided on various machining tools and rapid prototyping. Additionally, Michael served as Lead Full Stack Developer for SkinCheck, creating a tele-health app, and worked as a Holacracy Consultant for 9b, facilitating organizational structure changes.
