Giorgio Corbellini

Giorgio Corbellini is the Head of Logistics Automation at embotech, leading a business unit specialized in automated on-site logistics with driverless vehicles, which began as an innovation project for Daimler AG. Prior experience includes roles as Project Lead and Project Manager at 1886Ventures, and as an ICT Expert at Daimler AG. Giorgio also served as an Associate Research Scientist at Disney Research, focusing on technologies such as Visible Light Communication and acoustic data transmission. Additional experience encompasses work as a Ph.D. student at LETI, a Research Engineer at the Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique, and a Research Engineer at ENST, contributing to wireless sensor networks and QoS-based scheduling disciplines. Giorgio holds a Ph.D. in Informatics and Telecommunications from the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble and two degrees in Telecommunications from Sapienza Università di Roma.
