Markus Hug

Markus Hug is an accomplished automotive engineer with extensive experience in control systems and functionality testing. Currently serving as Head of Functionality and Testing at embotech since November 2017, Markus has held key roles in various prestigious organizations, including Senior Project Engineer at Idrosun SA and Senior Consultant for Trulli GP Formula E Team. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Control Systems Engineer at Sauber Motorsport AG, Control Systems Engineer at Hispania F1 Racing Team and BMW Sauber F1 Team, and Turbocharging Systems Development Engineer at ABB Turbo Systems Ltd. Markus holds a Master's Degree in Combustion Engines and Control Systems from ETH Zürich, earned from 1999 to 2005.
