Jim Bailey has a strong background in regulatory compliance and quality assurance. Jim started their career as a Chief Inspector at Celsius Aerotech from 1991 to 2000. Jim then moved to Tennessee Technical Services as a Director of Quality Assurance from 2000 to 2002. From 2002 to the present, they have worked at Embraer Aircraft Maintenance Services, Inc. where they have held multiple roles, including Vice President of Quality Assurance, Corporate Compliance Officer, Chief Inspector, and currently, Director of Regulatory Compliance. In their roles, they have been responsible for developing quality programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting safety and quality initiatives. Jim has also acted as a liaison for regulatory issues with authorities such as the FAA.
Jim Bailey completed their education at the University of Phoenix from 2004 to 2006, earning a Master of Business Administration degree in the field of Business. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1990, they attended Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Maintenance Management. In addition, Jim Bailey holds an Airframe & Powerplant License from the Federal Aviation Administration, which they acquired in 1989.
