Leone Mendes is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in autonomous flight technologies, flight control systems, and data engineering. Currently serving in research and development at Embraer, Leone has also held roles as a Flight Control Laws Engineer and a KC390 Mission Systems Engineer, focusing on military systems modeling and software development. Previous experience includes Data Scientist and Data Engineer positions at Learning Machine, as well as Embedded System Engineer at SYSNAV, where Leone developed a sensors synchronization platform for autonomous vehicles. Additional positions include Mecatronics Engineer and Software Developer in various projects related to robotics and airport bird deterrence systems. Leone holds a Master's degree in Electonics and a Master of Engineering from CentraleSupélec, along with a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas.
