Carlos Pacheco

Carlos Pacheco is an environmental scientist at Embrapa, with over 13 years of experience in climate change, low carbon agriculture, and environmental impact assessment. Currently, they serve as the president of the horticulture portfolio management committee, coordinating a multidisciplinary team to enhance the competitiveness of Brazil's horticulture sector. Carlos has also contributed to academia as a student, professor, and researcher in environmental engineering and soil science at the Universidade Federal de Viçosa from 2000 to 2010.
