Cicero Lima is a research economist with extensive experience in academia and research institutions. Currently, Cicero holds positions at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and Embrapa since 2020 and 2021 respectively. Previously, Cicero served as a temporary professor at Universidade Federal de Pelotas, teaching various undergraduate courses in economics. Additional experience includes roles as a postdoctoral research associate at Purdue University and FGV, as well as a visiting researcher at Agroicone. Cicero participated as a principal researcher on the SAIN-NEXUS project at Embrapa and contributed to research at several institutions, including MIT's Joint Program on the Science and Policy of Global Change. Cicero holds a Doctorate in Applied Economics from Universidade Federal de Viçosa and has furthered education with various programs at prestigious institutions.
