Edla Lima is a researcher at Embrapa and has served as a substitute professor for General Geology and Pedology courses at the Instituto de Letras da UFJF. Edla holds a Master's degree in Geology and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, obtained between March 1992 and September 1994, and a Bachelor's degree in Geology from the Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro, completed in 1986.
