Haron Xaud is a seasoned researcher at Embrapa since 1997, focusing on the development of agricultural technologies aimed at minimizing environmental impact while maximizing income and socioeconomic development in the Amazon. Previously, Haron Xaud worked as a researcher and PhD candidate at the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais - INPE from March 2008 to March 2013, where the research involved monitoring tropical forests affected by fires using multisensor approaches and various satellite systems. Additionally, Haron Xaud served as a guest professor at UFRR in 2006 for a graduate program in Sustainable Regional Development and Public Policies and held a teaching position at ETFRR - CEFET-RR from 1994 to 1997, specializing in surveying and construction. The educational background includes a PhD in Remote Sensing of Terrestrial Ecosystems and a Master's degree in Geosciences from the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais, along with an agronomy degree from Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro.
