Larissa Vendrame is an accomplished scientific researcher and breeder with significant expertise in plant breeding and genetics. Currently serving as the Head of the Sweet Potato Breeding Program at EMBRAPA since June 2014, Larissa has previously held the position of Sugarcane Breeder at CTC - Centro de Tecnologia Canavieira and has a robust academic background, including a Ph.D. in Genetics and Plant Breeding from the University of São Paulo.
