Jens Haug has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Jens started their career at Norsonic as a Developer in 1995. In 1997, they joined Thales Norway as the Manager of the Communication System department. In 2001, they moved to TietoEnator as a Project Manager. From 2005 to 2011, they worked as a Consulting Director at Integrate. In 2011, they became the CEO of Embriq Software AS for a brief period before being promoted to Vice President Software at Embriq AS. Jens later took on the role of Director of Products at Embriq AS from January 2014 to November 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Business Development & Digital Strategy at Embriq.
Jens Haug began their education in 1985 at Bjertnes, where they completed their studies until 1987. Jens then attended Befalskolen for Marinen from 1986 to 1988. Afterward, Haug pursued higher education at the University of Oslo (UiO) from 1990 to 1995, obtaining a Master of Science (MsC) degree in Informatics.
