Robert Cooper

Robert co-founded Ithaca & NYC based startup IDS after grad school. IDS sold mission critical software used by NYSE, Swiss Exchange, semiconductor plants and telecom providers and was acquired by Stratus Computer for 24X revenue. He has led advanced development and architecture teams at internet startups and established companies including Stratus, Lucent and Mercury Systems. He co-founded energy management company Coincident, and co-founded Embue after early voice-of-the-customer meetings uncovered the critical need for operational technology in the multi-housing market. Robert holds a PhD in computer science from Cambridge University and a MA in sustainability from Harvard University. He holds two patents.
