Jeromy Evans has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Jeromy is currently employed at Emburse as the Vice President of Engineering, where they oversee the engineering teams responsible for data and analytics platforms, transactional data platforms, and receipt and invoice transcription platforms. Prior to this role, Evans held the position of Vice President of Engineering at Chrome River Technologies, where they played a key role in transforming engineering practices and integrating QA automation and continuous delivery. Jeromy also served as the Director of Engineering and Manager of Software Engineering at Chrome River, focusing on high-growth SaaS applications and strengthening the engineering team and processes. Earlier in their career, Evans was the Chief Operating Officer of enableHR, leading the development of a successful HR platform and growing the team from 3 to 18 people. Jeromy also worked as a Software Architect at PeopleInsite and a Software Engineer at Orchestrate.it, contributing to the development of SaaS platforms. Additionally, Evans has experience in the defense industry, serving as the Engineering Manager and System Architect for the Defence Materiel Organisation, where they worked on a project developing a combat system for submarines. Jeromy also worked as a Software Engineer at the Defence Science and Technology Organisation, focusing on software development and systems engineering for defense projects.

Jeromy Evans completed their education at various institutions. Jeromy started by pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Curtin University, from 1995 to 1999. Afterward, they enrolled in the AGSM @ UNSW Business School and obtained an Executive MBA from 2010 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Jeromy also earned certifications in Machine Learning from Coursera in April 2020 and became a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) through the Scrum Alliance in August 2018.
