Sr. Support Engineer at Emburse

Peter Maier has a diverse work experience in technical support and software development. Peter most recently worked at Emburse as a Sr. Support Engineer since March 2022, and prior to that, they held the role of Support Engineer from January 2020. Before joining Emburse, Peter worked at Chrome River Technologies as a Support Engineer from June 2018 to March 2022. Peter has also had a long tenure at Oracle, starting in January 2010 as a Principal Technical Support Engineer and providing worldwide customer support for Solaris, SunRay, and VirtualBox. In addition, Peter moderated Oracle Solaris and OpsCenter Communities and solved complex problems in graphical desktop environments. Peter's career started at Gammadata Systems & Software GmbH, Germering, where they worked as a Software Developer from February 1990 to January 1994.

Peter Maier attended FH Darmstadt from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a Diploma in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Peter has also obtained several certifications related to Docker and containerization technology. In March 2018, they earned certifications in "Deploying Container Apps with Docker Cloud," "Deploying Docker to AWS," and "Learning Docker" from Lynda.com.
