Shifa Akbar

Shifa Akbar is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in implementation and engineering roles. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant, Implementation at Emburse since February 2024, Shifa previously held significant positions at Thomson Reuters, including Co-Chair of Women@TR ANZ and Lead Engineer for Integrations, where responsibilities included managing the ONESOURCE e-filing systems for Australia and collaborating with the ATO's Digital Partnership team. Prior experience includes a Senior Engineer role at Allens, overseeing multiple applications, and a systems engineering role. Shifa started a career as a Technical Support Analyst at HP and has held various positions in organizations like Clarinox and Cisco, gaining expertise in software onboarding and technical support. Shifa holds a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Calicut.
