Thaddeus Ng

Thaddeus Ng has a diverse range of work experience. Thaddeus started their career as an Intern at Project Vote Smart in 2009. Thaddeus then worked as a Residential Networking Lab Consultant at Rutgers New Brunswick Computing Services from 2007 to 2010. After that, they became a Research Assistant at the Smoking Cessation Laboratory, Rutgers University, where they were responsible for data collection and management.

In 2011, Thaddeus joined Save the Children US as an IT Coordinator, where they served as an ERP System Administrator and participated in the ERP system upgrade effort. Thaddeus also worked as a Web Publishing Assistant and an Internet Communications and Marketing Intern during their time there.

In 2015, Thaddeus worked as a Freelance Software Engineer and a Software Developer at Apprentice 100. Thaddeus gained experience in full stack development and attended training classes on various industry best practices and technologies.

From 2015 to 2019, Thaddeus worked as a Software Developer at Media Monitors, where they contributed to the development of the Advertising Analytics platform and helped implement a new tool for analyzing advertising instances.

In 2019, Thaddeus joined Abacus (now known as Emburse) as a Software Engineer. Thaddeus worked on the Emburse Spend expense reimbursement platform, utilizing technologies such as React, TypeScript, Express, and NodeJS. Thaddeus also played a key role in architecting and integrating a whitelabel system for Emburse Spend, enabling partnerships with banks and financial institutions.

Thaddeus Ng completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/Psychology from Rutgers University, attending from 2006 to 2011. Thaddeus then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at Southern Connecticut State University from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their academic qualifications, Thaddeus also obtained a certification in Search Mastery from Sumo Logic in October 2019.
