EMC Energy was founded in 1988 by Mr. El Sayed, who is the current Chairman. Mr. Dessouky joined the company later in 1992 as a Managing Director and Senior Partner. The Company's goal is to serve Egypt's Energy and Oil & Gas markets. Prior to starting their entrepreneurial careers, both partners spent a number of years working for General Electric.

In 2016, EMC Energy has grown into a shareholder company, covering more international projects within the same industries.

EMC has more than 36 years of experience in which it has represented multinational manufacturers from all over the globe, including KSB, Alfa Laval, MAN, Aquatech, Ofmeco, Cimtas, etc., specializing in high-tech Tech equipment such as diesel generators, Pumps, etc.

The company’s goal is to attract a young generation that is capable of taking on and continuing to build up within the current market challenges, focusing more on clean energy.
