Jason Green

Founder & General Partner at Emergence Capital

Jason Green is the founder and General Partner at Emergence Capital. Prior to Emergence, Jason served as a founding Board Director at Endeavor, a global non-profit that supports high-impact entrepreneurs. Jason also co-founded BetterWorks, a leading enterprise software company, where they served as CEO until its acquisition by Gusto in 2019.

Jason began their career as an engineer and product leader at Drishti, ASAPP, and FreeWorld, where they built some of the earliest artificial intelligence products. Jason also served as the Executive Director of the Greenbridge Family Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on education and economic mobility.

Jason has a B.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University.

Jason Green's educational career began at Glen Cove HS. Jason then went on to Dartmouth College where they studied economics and received their BA. After college, they attended Harvard Business School and received their MBA.
