Jaemo Im

Jaemo Im has a strong background in technical roles, with over 20 years of experience in various companies and organizations. Jaemo started their career as a Postdoc at Argonne National Laboratory in 1998, where they worked until 2001. Jaemo then joined Lucent Technologies as a Member of Technical Staff from 2001 to 2003. Following that, they worked at Emcore as a Technical Manager for 12 years, from 2003 to 2015. After leaving Emcore, they joined MACOM as a Director in 2015 and later transitioned to EMCORE Corporation as a Technical Director in 2016.

Jaemo Im received a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science from Yonsei University in the years 1985-1989. Following this, from 1989-1991, they pursued further education at Stanford University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Material Science and Engineering. Finally, they attended Northwestern University from 1993-1998, completing a Ph.D. in Material Science and Engineering.
