Xiangning Luo

Xiangning Luo currently serves as Sr. Staff Scientist at EMCORE Corporation, focusing on the process development and integration of InP based lasers and modulators since September 2018. Prior to this role, Xiangning worked as a Staff Process Development and Integration Engineer at Lumentum, specializing in GaAs based lasers from February to August 2018. From January 2010 to December 2017, Xiangning held the position of Sr. Scientist at APIC CORPORATION, where significant contributions included the fabrication of commercial laser products, process improvements for high power analog and DFB lasers, failure mode analysis of semiconductor devices, initiation of product process travelers, and training of colleagues and academic users in advanced processing equipment. Xiangning Luo earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Physics from Nankai University and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, respectively, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
