Phillip Allen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Phillip started their career as a Research Intern at Luntz Global in 2005. Phillip then worked as a Political Consultant at Allen & Minton Consulting, where they managed multi-million dollar political campaigns and oversaw coordination for several district offices.
In 2009, Phillip joined the US Army as an Infantry Officer, where they served as a Manager in charge of 42 direct reports and was responsible for project implementation and equipment maintenance. After leaving the military in 2013, they joined Fresenius Medical Care North America as a Production Supervisor, leading a team of technicians and ensuring operational goals were met.
Phillip then moved on to Candela Medical in 2019, initially serving as a Senior Manager in Manufacturing Engineering and Vendor Management. Phillip managed a team of engineers and provided production support, as well as engineering support for new product introduction and transfer projects. Later on, they became the Director of Manufacturing Engineering and Project Management, responsible for contract manufacturing organizations and project management.
In 2021, they joined Avenda Health as the Director of Manufacturing Operations and R&D, overseeing manufacturing operations and research and development. Currently, Phillip holds the position of Director of Laboratory Operations at Emerald Cloud Lab, a role they assumed in 2023.
Phillip Allen has a diverse education history. Phillip obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Strategic Management from the same institution. In 2014, Phillip attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) to obtain a Master of Science (MSc) degree. Before that, they completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Psychology from Kingston University in 2013. Phillip's undergraduate education includes a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Political Science from Creighton University, which they earned from 2003 to 2007.
In addition to their academic achievements, Phillip has also obtained several certifications. Phillip became an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer from ASQ - World Headquarters in October 2021. Phillip also holds certifications such as ISO 13485: 2016 Certified Lead Auditor from BSI, Six Sigma Black Belt from Fresenius Medical Care North America, and Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) from the University of San Diego. Furthermore, they have completed various leadership courses and training programs within the US Army, including the US Army Airborne School, Stryker Leadership School, Infantry Basic Officer Leadership Course (IBOLC), and the Sniper Employment Leadership Course.
