Simone Pizzi

Simone Pizzi is an Assistant Professor in Business Administration and a Chartered Accountant and External Auditor at the University of Salento, where they hold a tenured track position. They serve as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Applied Accounting Research and are also a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for Social Responsibility Journal. Simone completed a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Salento and has a strong background in consultancy and evaluation, having worked with various organizations, including the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Regional Government of Puglia. Additionally, they have held multiple roles in academia and contributed to financial reporting and sustainability efforts throughout their career.
