Gerry Protti

Gerry Protti, MA, ICD.D, currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute, where they focus on advancing public policy research and fostering dialogue on economic and societal issues. With over a decade of experience in leadership roles, Protti has previously held positions such as President of Collaborative Canadian Energy Solutions and Chairman of the Alberta Energy Regulator. They have contributed to significant governance and strategic initiatives across various organizations, including the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers and Encana Corporation. Protti holds a Master of Arts in Economics from Western University and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Economics from the University of Alberta.
